Every year, this campaign is conducted nationwide to prevent fires and protect lives and property. Even though March feels like early spring, the weather is still cold, and heating appliances are still in use — increasing fire risk during this dry season.

To reduce residential fires and raise awareness about fire safety before fire risks increase in early spring.

• Use heaters and electrical outlets safely

• Avoid dusty, overloaded plugs

• Do not place flammable items around buildings

• Stay alert against arson

• Practice evacuation and fire drills
